H1N1 Is Mild??? Why the hype then?

Foxnews.com: Dr. Rosenfeld reports H1N1 virus is “a relatively mild illness for most people.” So why the 3.5 million vaccines???? Why the hype, why the hysteria???
This morning students were reported to have the virus in a High School in Eaglesville, PA, USA. They don’t seem to be panicked.
“The district has been informed that two of our high school students have been diagnosed with novel influenza A H1N1. However, it is our belief that cases of this illness could be present in all of our schools, and in the interest of open communication, we chose to share this information with our families directly.
Working within the recommended guidelines of state and local health department officials, the district has taken several proactive measures in order to prevent the spread of this illness in our schools.”

I wonder if maybe we aren’t just seeing an attempt, once again, on the part of many major media outlets at “creating” hysteria to sell their news time. I personally reported this story to Foxnews.com just to give them an update, but I don’t expect the world to shudder in horror; It’s just the flu.

H1N1 or Swine Flu is a bit scary but it a good thing to note that this virus is not that very deadly.
I don’t get it. If the h1n1 isn’t the serious then why is so many people dying and so many people getting the vaccine.
