Stop Telling Pakistani Christians to Die Quietly!

When did Christianity in America become this casper-milk-toast version I hear so often? What happened to the kind of Christian men and women that took on real hardship to found this nation and defend our God Given right to exist unmolested?
I cannot stand the sickening passivity I hear being preached as Christianity in the United States of America.
NOWHERE in the scriptures does it say we must let our women and children be molested, murdered, or enslaved as a good witness of our love for God. That may be what some pagan religion teaches, but that is definately NOT what God teaches and commands in the Bible.
Do you truly believe George Washington thought Jesus expected him not to defend his family and neighbors? How about Paul Revere or the signers of the Declaration of Independence? Certainly not!
So when did we decide to let our founding father’s religion be hijacked by the likes of Jimmy Carter? This man doesn’t even have enough spine to leave the denomination he slanders wantonly. Carter has said twice he is leaving the Southern Baptists and yet he still hangs around doing Bible classes.
So where did this Cowardly Lion Christianity come from, because it sure isn’t from the Bible?! I do see lots of examples of spinelessness in the Bible but it is never extolled as being a good witness of a follower of God; Just the opposite is true in fact.
God expects and commands us to defend the weak and the helpless. When we do not we are considered rebellious and worthy of His Wrath.
When professing U.S. Christians are telling our Pakistani Brethren to remain peaceful as “an excellent witness to the Lord” they really mean to say, ”Die quietly”. I have two reactions to that: Nausea and anger.
HOW DARE any American Christians say such a thing? How can my own brethren tell a neighboring group of Believers to not defend themselves, and use Jesus to do it; especially considering our own history?
Support your brothers in Pakistan, pray for them daily, to be sure… but stop fomenting cowardice as if it is Christianity, George would be ashamed.
