Hey Schori – You’re Still a HERETIC

“How is it that a Church can dismiss the clear words of scripture (see e.g. Romans 10:9-10) as a mere ‘individualistic formula’?” the Rev. Phil Ashey, chaplain & C.O.O. of the conservative American Anglican Council, responded.
Well, Reverend, the answer to that question should be pretty clear when Katherine Schori disregards 1 Corinthians 6:9 and authorizes the ordination of deviates (remember Schori: “the unrighteous”?). Why would Katherine’s declaration that individuals cannot be saved shock you after such an apostate position; She’s still a heretic. I expect she will next designate unrepentant child molesters for the clergy; She’s showing her true colors. After all, out of her own mouth, came her condemnation:
“I think we have to understand that homosexual orientation is a gift, in the same way that we understand heterosexual orientation is a gift. It’s a different kind of gift and it’s going to come with different consequences and opportunities, but it is a gift.”

Schori has dragged the Episcopal church into the mother of all splits; I hope she takes her hell-bound friends with her out of the Church. Then, maybe, the Anglicans can get back to doing what they do best, glorifying Jesus.
Schori? … She needs to actually read the Bible for what God would say to her and not what she wants to shove into it. Who knows, she might even see the truth. But one thing is for sure: ”Bishop” Katherine Jefferts-Schori is an apostate and anyone under her leadership need to get out, quickly.
And just to be crystal here, Homosexuality is a Sin not a “gift” Katherine; Your twisted contextualization will not change that.
