The Two Gardens of God

In the Bible God clearly demonstrates how He deals with every man. One of the clearest examples of this are the two gardens, the Garden of Eden and the Garden of Gethsemane. In one the Law of God, and all of His Justice was demonstrated and in the other God’s Mercy shined forth. In the first garden God provided all that man could ever want, with one simple rule. And in the other All His Law was atoned for in one Act of Compassion. One Garden left mankind condemned and the other opened the only door to His forgiveness ever offered.

The Law Killed, but Divine Mercy triumphed over the Letter of the Law. In the first Garden the Letter of the Law was carried out to it’s full measure. While at Gethsemane God demonstrated His LOVE for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 9:13 KJV,

Who can doubt God’s Love for us? How can we reject so great a Mercy, so outstanding a sacrifice as Matthew 26:26-46 describes, yet some still do. Christ came to rescue sinners. So unless you acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of saving, that you need his forgiveness, that you are headed for Hell and the Eternal Lake of Fire, that you justly deserve, then He can’t rescue you…

In other words, Jesus cannot save you if you are not a sinner.

So then, which Garden do you choose? For you will choose no matter what you claim. Do you want God’s Law to Judge you, or will you choose Gods Mercy?

What you do with the Gardens of God will determine your eternal fate, so choose wisely.
