CINOs Are Leaving VOLUNTARILY

The un-Biblical fear of correcting false converts has created an interesting result
The “Tares” Jesus spoke of, in Matthew 13, that are false but professing Christians, those I refer to as C.I.N.Os (Christians In Name Only), are leaving the denominations of their own volition, as John predicted – most heading right into ecumenism, embracing the postmodern mindset of “do as thou wilt.”
As John Said, “They were among us but they were not of us.“ (1John 2:18)
You can feel the pain of these dwindling numbers on the congregation, but this is what is expected for these times. Indeed, if the leaders had done their jobs, the C.I.N.O.s would not have been there in the first place.
Some of the denominations of Christianity have had to endure Judaisers ripping into their flock as the media splashed the story all over the world. As these wolves gloried in their own flesh, and not in God, there was a clue to the Elders of these congregations that they had missed. But, as so many congregates have learned, the awful truth is that all their leaders are the false prophets and charlatans; Many denominations are nearly completely corrupted.
As was often the case, when the Brethren came out of these corrupted congregations controlled by apostates, the false followed (Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Episcopalians, etc…). And as so few congregations were willing to show them the door the Apostates never would leave the company of The Body, until now.
Why are so many denominations around the world failing?
The Apostates themselves have had enough. These, who should have been kicked out long before now through Biblically applied Church Discipline, cannot stand the association with Jesus any longer. Some have gone so far as to starting completely different religions, rejecting Jesus altogether, as they relegate God Himself to a minor prophet or a good teacher. Truly this is a sign of the times; A pulling down of strongholds and any vain thing that holds itself above the Knowledge of God.
Some have said that Jesus warned not to try and pull up the false converts, lest the Faithful come out in the process. But if this is so then what can we do to remain faithful in our fellowship, keep our congregations from being destroyed by the false shepherds, the false teachers, these ravening wolves, and yet still remain peaceful? It would appear God is dealing with them Himself.
Some have said to, “Preach the word, in season and out of season” as a solution to the false sitting amongst us. They have said that when the Church preaches the Truth the false converts may try to remain, and some even succeeding to control the business of the local meeting, but, Heretics never do enter the Body of Christ and will eventually leave. The false Christians may reside within the building, even causing a great deal of harm, but they never can have fellowship with Christ’s Church and so will gradually walk away. And this idea may be the right one, by all accounts of the scathing dwindling of congregation counts both here in the U.S.A. and abroad.
Some propose that to exercise Church Discipline will rid the liars from our midst, as they claim Paul calls us to do. Yet these are then criticized with, “Aren’t we being very hypocritical to point our fingers so easily? How can we judge another man’s servant?” But we may not need to concern ourselves with the question anymore. The snakes are leaving the building being charmed by a very old song.
My Pastor, Matthew Fisher, believes the answer to the problem lies with attrition as he preaches the Word, line by line, verse by verse, front to back – all the way through the Bible. The Lost cannot stand to hear the truth and will eventually leave. Isn’t that what is happening? Do we still need to be concerned with Church Discipline now?
Others say there is much to be said for Church Discipline still, in setting someone outside of the fellowship, not letting them return, until they stop willfully sinning. This ensures the weaker and more easily swayed or injured brethren don’t get arrested further by the Apostates, it is argued. But then the understanding in what Jesus said about not pulling up wheat with the weeds has to be looked at more closely, to see if this is what is true.
What exactly, then, is the right approach? Did Jesus mean we should not exercise Church Discipline? Was Jesus and Paul at odds over this issue?
The simple key to the matter is who the “reapers” are in Christ’s Parable of the Wheat and the Tares; Who the “farmer” is…
“The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed…the reapers are the angels.” Matthew 13:39
The farmer is Jesus HIMSELF, the reapers the Angels! This is no admonition from Jesus to not Discipline the Church but His explanation, and warning, on how He told the Angels to sort us at the end of the world.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares is NOT about Church Discipline; These verses are not Jesus telling us not to Discipline false converts.
Jesus replied, “The Son of Man* is the farmer who plants the good seed. The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one. The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world,* and the harvesters are the angels.
Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!
And Paul also did not say to reject the immoral in the world, either…
“I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.” 1Cor5:9 (my emphasis)
“But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner— not even to eat with such a person.” -1Corinthians 5:11 (my emphasis)
As Paul said, “those who are outside God judges.” We are to police ourselves. The world needs us to speak to them, to care enough to tell them of God’s Justice and of His Mercy. But let’s not get the process backwards, as so many do.
Yes, indeed, the churches are getting so small that whole groups of congregations have had to consolidate, or close their doors entirely, just meeting in their homes, because they cannot afford the buildings anymore. I heard the head of the Methodists has even offered to rejoin the denomination to the Roman Catholic Church! GOD FORBID! [But what can you expect from a woman who thinks she's a Head Pastor and Reverend?]
But I digress. Sorry.
Jesus and Paul are in complete agreement. Churches must police themselves. And now, more than ever, the price will be very high. You may have to kick the rich apostate out from your midst, maybe even to risk closing your doors entirely. But isn’t that SO MUCH better than to endure heresy to the shame of God in your own meetings? Yes, very much so.
We are seeing a falling away and the like that has not ever been seen before.
REJOICE! God’s Name is being lifted High. We will be fine.
