Don’t Tread On Me, I May Bite

As I read the story “Killer or ‘Hero’?“, at Fox News, describing the “Plane-crashing IRS killer Joe Stack”, I realized we may see more such events as the USA dives deeper into the worst Depression we have ever experienced.
Why do I say this? Isn’t the USA the most profitable nation in the world? It used to be. Isn’t America the most powerful nation in the world? It used to be. Isn’t America the most giving nation in the world? Thankfully, yes, it still is.
So why, then, would a grown man, who isn’t a Muslim, kill himself trying to murder those he considered responsible for his ills? Because, as the Bible says, “the heart of man is desperately wicked.” Joe was wicked; so Desperately wicked he didn’t care who he hurt to be right. Now his daughter has no father and those he attacked are left wondering how they deserved such an evil act.
When a man is pressed to the breaking point, as all he hopes in crumbles around him, you can get a violent response. Frankly, I’m surprised at the patience, the self-control, American men have shown to date. The men of this nation have shown their true character in holding their anger as they remain working within the system to affect the change needed. Clearly, Joseph Stack was not one of those men.
The United States of America is home to the most fiercely independent people on earth. Only Israel could be considered a viable match for the tenacity of the people of this nation. And our people don’t like being pushed too hard for too long. Consider the flogging we gave the British, the Mexicans, the Japanese, the Nazis. It does seem we lost our national will after WW2 to do what needed to be done. But, over the long run of our country, our Americans have demonstrated they take no nonsense.
The Korean and Vietnam conflicts showed how weak minded men had wormed their way into our leadership, at the cost of many, many American lives. And it seems these same limp-wristed individuals are back in power. I suggest they be careful how hard they push us.
Our nation is beginning to feel the pains of being reduced to a third world country by those in power in our own government who hate the USA; Those who hate our independent spirit; Those who HATE our global prominence as a beacon of hope for ALL who desire to be FREE. So, don’t be too surprised if more immature citizens don’t “lose it” along the way as their freedoms get tested.
But don’t let this be you. Work with what we have; Stay calm. Christians have NO excuse for such actions; Our Hope is eternal. And men who haven’t succumbed to the all-too-popular feminization process will do well to get involved in the election process. We may see a third party rise to prominence soon. Boys let their feelings rule them, not men.
We have hard times ahead. We can expect some moments where we will have to hold our own against our own anger. But God expects us, commands us, to work within the system as long as we can, trust in His Sovereignty always; Stand for the Truth, every day. Yes, there is a limit to your cooperation, I grant you, but you have no excuse to lose control, ever. There are ALWAYS channels we can work with that are God honoring.
“Don’t Tread On Me” was the first recognized flag of the United States of America. We should now add “I May Bite” to that flag as a warning those who would press our citizens beyond measure. But to those very citizens, all of us, I say, “Just make sure that ‘Bite’ is what God allows.”
Our condolences to those Mr. Stack attacked. He was very wrong to choose such actions. In NO way do I, as a man of the United States of America, condone what he has done. Indeed, I deplore his actions as that of a child and a criminal. His daughter is very wrong; He Dad was no hero to attemopt to murder innocent people.
